Did volunteering with KiB help you find your place in the world? Then help us help other young people by joining our new KiB Alumni Network, launching this autumn. The network will be a community of former volunteers and supporters who want to stay connected with KIB – and with each other.
It’s for everyone, at every stage in their KiB journey: you might still be in education; just starting a new career, or already established in your chosen profession. We hope it’ll open doors to new opportunities through mentoring, networking events, masterclasses and the support of a community that shares your values. By keeping in touch and sharing our stories, we can all help each other.
Togetherness: it’s what KiB’s all about!
Your feedback will also help us refine our work and demonstrate our impact to funders and partners – so we can keep going to help future volunteers.
Emily has already signed up for the network. She told us this story: I’m a Biomedical Sciences Student at the University of Oxford. The skills I gained from volunteering with KiB made a positive impact on my studies and gave me a whole new perspective on the patient side of medicine.
